Sabotage Bar
Live music, DJs, Fussball, Beers and good times in Santa Catalina’s Plaza del Vapor.
A no-frills but energetic and fun, late-night haunt for people looking to continue their night in Palma’s boho district, Santa Catalina.
Working your way up the narrow cobbled streets leading you to Santa Catalina’s nightclub alley, you’ll find yourself next to Palma’s ancient windmills with beautiful views of Palma Bay. Sabotage Bar is positioned next to another late night haunt, Sala Luna and is located in a rustic stone building full of intimate corners (including a pole for dancing) and vaulted ceilings. The creative owners clearly take pride in their interior, which sports some artistically quirky details, and often hosts exhibitions. Drinks however are kept fairly simple with a basic selection to choose from, so make sure you visit one of the local neighbourhood’s more contemporary cocktail bars beforehand if you’re after cleverly crafted margaritas.
It opens at midnight on Friday and Saturday nights, and it's a fun and mostly young vibe, sporting a foosball table, often live music or DJs and heaps of dancing until the early hours of the morning. Whilst there’s often a queue to get into this popular venue, it’s usually with free entry and for anyone in need of an earlier night, they also host ‘tardeo’, Mallorca’s popular Saturday afternoon clubbing session.
