Celebrations in honour of the patron saint of Palma
The Fiesta Sant Sebastià is one of the biggest festivals in Mallorca. It takes place every January to celebrate the patron saint of the capital, Saint Sebastian.
The city celebrates with cultural activities, sports events, lots of entertainment for children (especially at Sant Sebastià Petit, a kid's party with live music, workshops and other activities for the little ones).
Sant Sebastià 2025 celebrations in Palma kick off officially on January 10.
Here are the highlights.
Opening Concert (January 17)
Kick off the festivities with Midnight Walkers and La Casa Azul in Plaza de España.

Two Tardeos (January 18)
When: Saturday, January 18, 18:00–00:00
Plaza de Cort: Dance to electronic beats with four DJs.
Plaza Mayor: Enjoy three live verbena-style performances.
Revetla de Sant Sebastià (January 19)
Celebrate with bonfires (“foguerons”), communal barbecues (“torradoras”), and live music in the streets in the evening.
Día de Sant Sebastià (January 20)
Public holiday in Palma; many businesses closed, but shops in other towns remain open.
Correfoc (January 26)
Don’t miss the fire run as demons parade with fireworks in a spectacular display of light and sound.
