Festes de Sant Sebastia

Celebrations in honour of the patron saint of Palma

featured in Events calendar Updated

The Fiesta Sant Sebastià is one of the biggest festivals in Mallorca. It takes place every January to celebrate the patron saint of the capital, Saint Sebastian.

The city celebrates with cultural activities, sports events, lots of entertainment for children (especially at Sant Sebastià Petit, a kid's party with live music, workshops and other activities for the little ones).

Sant Sebastià 2025 celebrations in Palma kick off on January 17 with a grand opening concert at Plaza de España from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., launching a week of events.

On January 18, afternoon concerts known as tardeos will feature live music from 6:00 p.m. to midnight in Plaza de Cort and Plaza Mayor.

Highlights include the famous Revetla de Sant Sebastià on January 19, where music, bonfires, and diverse concerts will fill plazas like Cort, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza del Rey Juan Carlos I.

The festivities close on January 25 with a large-scale concert (location TBD) from 8:00 p.m. to midnight, wrapping up the celebration with style and attracting a large crowd. Over 450,000 euros will support artists and events, making this a vibrant celebration of Palma’s culture, music, and gastronomy.

There are also exhibitions, music, guided tours and parades for the duration of the festival. Find all the details in the official programme (available about a week before the event).
