230 Million Investment for Palma de Mallorca Shopping Centre
Playa de Palma Aqua Mágica Park set to be completed for 2015
Europes largest commercial real estate company, Unibail-Rodamco, is set to invest 230 million euros in the new Playa de Palma shopping centre and is due to be completed for 2015.
Aqua Mágica Park will combine shopping, dining and leisure activities, in an area of 70,000 square meters, with parking for over 3,700 vehicles. The complex will be a benchmark international shopping centre for Europe.
The Paris based company, Unibail-Rodamco, have signed an agreement with Aqua Magic Park to invest an additional 230 million euros to the original 120 million euro project.
It is said the new centre will create over 5,000 jobs.
After ten years of countless bureaucratic and legal steps, construction will begin in September on the Ses Fontanelles wetlands site just next to the Palma Aquarium behind the Playa de Palma.
