Imprint
By Nicola Henderson, Updated

The village of Caimari is the centre of Mallorca's olive oil production, and every year it hosts an olive festival to celebrate the gloriously diverse product. Some of the islands oldest olive tress (over 1000 years old) are to be found in the area. All sorts of olive related products line the streets of Caimari during the two day festival, and the town's olive press is open to the public. Caimari can be found in the north-west of Mallorca, on the road from Inca to Lluc.
