Located in the Pere Garau neighbourhood, one of the most populated and multicultural in Palma, this is one of the oldest markets in the city.

Founded in 1943, the Pere Garau market is where locals living in the eastern half of the city come for their groceries. Inside, you'll find fresh, seasonal produce as well as local products.

However, Pere Garau is famous for its outdoor market on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Farmers from all around the island gather here to sell their produce and their livestock. That's right, this is the only market in Palma that has live animals!

Open on Mondays and Wednesdays 06:00-14:40, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 06:00-15:00 and on Saturdays from 06:00 to 16:00.
