Mesón Ca'n Pedro - Genova
Located in Genova, just north of Palma, Mesón Ca'n Pedro is a traditional Mallorcan-style restaurant which has been serving up hearty meals to locals, expats and tourists since 1976. A bit of an institution when it comes to restaurants in the south-west of Mallorca, you'll have to book in advance but it’s well worth it for you'll find epic Mallorcan cuisine, grilled meats and fish, all locally sourced fresh from the market. There’s a huge terrace with views over Palma and a children’s play area to accommodate the little ones.
Meatclub - Cala d'Or
If you're mad about meat, then Meatclub in Cala d’Or should be on your hit list if you are visiting the south-east of the island. It only opened in 2017, but already has a loyal following in the area. It boasts a trendy setting in the heart of Cala d’Or while the large tables with fires in the middle are particularly eye-catching in the evenings. Here you can chow down on burgers, spareribs, pulled pork, all kinds of steak and more. Be sure to try the Tomahawk if you are hungry. We visited this restaurant a few weeks ago and just loved it!
Hotel Ca's Xorc - Sóller
On Thursdays, head to the hills as it's when Ca’s Xorc Boutique Hotel host their BBQ extravaganza. Not only is this the setting of one of the best views Mallorca has to offer, but they also have the best salad buffet featuring delicate plates like ceviche and homemade gazpacho. When it comes to the grill, the standard continues to excel as the chef uses only the finest quality meats to satisfy the most spoiled palates. Hotel Font i Rog - Maria de la Salut
On Fridays, travel to the small village of Maria de la Salut, near Sineu, where hidden gem Hotel Font i Roig puts on a first-class BBQ night. The restaurant's terrace enjoys yet another great setting overlooking Mallorca’s rural plains and has all sorts of goodies on the menu including steak, sausages, Iberian pork and ribs. If you aren’t into meat then fear not for this place has a good variety of seafood available including fresh lobster, giant prawns, tuna, salmon and more.
