Ca n'Ignasi Restaurant
A family run authentic restaurant with great tasting menus
Located in Inca, this restaurant offers a taste of all the Balearic islands, not just Mallorca
This unique restaurant is a culinary gem, born out of a shared passion for Balearic gastronomy and indigenous products. Starting from humble origins in a rustic garage, the space maintains its original charm. The restaurant offers a rotating tasting menu every fortnight or month that utilises seasonal ingredients. Signature dishes include "Rostit homit" lamb and the cuttlefish served with Mallorcan savoury tart, and are rooted in tradition. Recently, the New York Times featured the restaurant and said ‘A parade of delicious eccentricities that have surprised and delighted us.'
The family have a passion for cooking and education, so they also offer workshops to encourage the learning of traditional cooking methods. Examples include the Ibizan "bollit de peix" and lobster stew master classes with tastings.

“Perfect meal. Fantastic tasting menu in a cute spot, run by a sweet family with a fantastic chef. A true culinary gem and the best we had in Spain!! We drove an hour from Artà and it was worth it a thousand times over.” – Trip Advisor
“Best meal in Mallorca. My husband says it was the best lamb he’s ever tasted, but overall being a tasting menu I’m impressed that I loved every single item, which is rare but the chef knows flavour! We happened upon it when the nearby cellar restaurant was closed on a Wednesday and we’re lucky enough to be given the last table. What a wonderful treat and we’ve left the restaurant’s cards in our hotel 10 mins down the road in Selva so others can enjoy it. We later stayed at a 5* hotel and not one of their dishes came close to the taste. I Hope we can go back!” - Trip Advisor
“Lovely family run restaurant. Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Inca which is obviously family run. The food was superb and prepared with passion by the father. They serve a 7 course taster menu and our only issue was the portion size and the speed that the food arrived, one course quickly after another. By the time we reached the meat and fish courses (despite asking for a break) we were so full, it was hard to fully appreciate the food. We highly recommend this restaurant but go there hungry!” - Trip Advisor
