Sa Ruta Verda is a Iconic cycling cafe in the heart of the Tramuntana Range, serving healthy and nutritious grub and offering a wide selection of cycling accessories and brands, including Stolen Goat, Lezyne and Gripgrab.

Sa Ruta sits at the base of one of the world's most popular climbs, this eatery has been a cyclist's haven since its opening in late 2015. With a location that draws in riders, the restaurant set out to create not just a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, but also a menu that caters specifically to the needs of those on a challenging ride.

The focus here is on healthy, flavourful, and nutritious food—a reflection of the owners' long-standing passion for wholesome eating. Over the past two years, the menu has gradually shifted towards offerings that are as good for the body as they are for the taste buds. Of course, this doesn’t mean there isn’t room for a well-deserved beer after a tough ascent!

One of the standout features of this spot is its homemade energy bars, crafted without the use of cooking or chemicals, alongside a selection of fresh juices made from locally sourced ingredients. The menu also includes a variety of other options such as bagels, salads, breakfasts, and cakes, all of which can be enjoyed on the patio with dedicated bike parking, or indoors when the weather isn’t optimal.

“I spent a delightful week in Caimari, during which I had the pleasure of trying nearly every sandwich on the menu at Sa Ruta Verda. My personal favourites were the Sobrasada, the Avocado Goat Cheese, and the Caprese. As someone who is gluten intolerant, I was thrilled to find their gluten-free options exceeded my expectations. These sandwiches are undoubtedly the best I’ve ever had. In addition to the fantastic food, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive.” - Trip Advisor

“Amazing cycling cafe. Gluten free and vegan options including really good gluten free bread for sandwiches. They have charges for Di2 gears (and other chargers) in case you get stuck! The owner was super helpful in getting one of my friends' gears working again :) They have some really cool local jerseys, socks and other cycling souvenirs. They also serve beer and have a variety of non dairy milk for coffee. Definitely worth a stop!” -  Trip Advisor

“Really friendly people, with a lovely cool and relaxed vibe. Great healthy options, with cakes and snacks too. Also sells bike essentials, such as kit, canisters and tubes if you need them for the mountains”.- Trip Advisor
