PADI Open Water Diver Course
3 to 5 days diving course with theory lessons from 10 years of age
Take a very thorough diving course and get a license that allows you to become an independent diver anywhere in the world.
PADI International certifications are recognised all over the world, and with this license you will be able to dive down to 18 metres without an instructor and it never expires. Zoea Mallorca offers a flexible schedule and very personalised courses.
By successfully completing this course you will obtain your beginners diving certification in 3 simple steps:
Step 1: The Diving Theory - 5 modules that cover all subjects related to the pressure at depth, the diving equipment, procedures and techniques and anything else essential to understand the notions that will then be practiced during the practical sessions. The theory is done online at home before you arrive in Mallorca.
Step 2: The Pool Sessions - Learn all the skills and techniques that will apply during the open water dives in a swimming pool or in the sea where the conditions are similar to a pool.
Step 3: The Open Water Dives - You will undertake 4 dives in open water from a boat. The first 2 dives will be to a maximum of 12m in depth and the last 2 to a maximum of 18m (except for 10 and 11 year old children). Here is where you will apply all the knowledge acquired during the theory and the pool sessions.
Requirements: You should be able to swim, be at least 10 years old, and be physically fit to practice scuba diving.

What's included
This company will provide you with all the equipment you will need during the course including diving cylinder, neoprene wetsuit and booties, jacket/bcd, regulator, fins, mask, snorkel, weights, and dive computer.
The price also includes the didactic materials, logbook, pool sessions, 4 dives from the boat in the sea, certification and diving insurance for the time of the course.

They have a diving shop, fully equipped classrooms, changing rooms and hot showers for women and men, lockers, rinsing area, automated wetsuit washing system, workshop for revisions, and a a small snack bar with terrace for relaxing before and after the dives.
The dive centre and all their boats have First Aid kits with Medical Oxygen. A MEDISUB Hiperbaric Chamber is just 20 minutes away.
