Mike Watts 75th Anniversary Concert in Soller
Celebration of the 75th anniversary of the English composer Mike Watts
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the English composer Mike Watts there will be a special concert of his music in Sóller on Saturday 2nd November.
The concert will include his 'Festes Mallorquines' inspired by the Sóller valley in Mallorca and the premiere of 'A Quartet of Songs' based on words by poet Paul Archer, alongside piano, clarinet and vocal works that span the years from the 1970's to the present day.
The music will be performed by Suzanne Bradbury (piano), Joan Francesc Cortes i Ribot (piano), Mari Luz Rodriguez-Startz (clarinet), Fiona Stuart-Wilson (soprano) and Waltraud Mucher (mezzo soprano).
