Galilea Bike Tour
3hr30 road bike tour from Palma de Mallorca to Galilea for up to 8 people.
Cycling a distance of 49.2km with a vertical gain of 878m, this road bike tour is ideal for those who want to discover places not frequented by tourists, away from the popular routes.
Starting straight with a climb from Palma you will ride into the Sierra Tramuntana mountains heading to the south-west part of Mallorca.
Winding up the mountain you reach “Coll de Sa Creu” then descend into the Calvia town and ride straight to Capdella where you can rest and save some energy before starting the climb to Galilea village.
After a 500 metre steep hill at the beginning, then a continuous 4km. of climbing to the top with a 4.5 % gradient there is time for a well-deserved break in Galilea, a nice village at the top of the mountain, where you can enjoy the views of Puig Galatzó and Malgrats islands.
After a refuel we are ready to descend directly to Puigpunyent and afterward to Palma, no more climbs for today.
This is a tour with a difficult level grading.
